 #5 Picnic

There is simply no better destination for a family picnic than the Hunter Valley! Picnicking is a great way for the family to enjoy a budget friendly meal in the great outdoors. Pack a yummy lunch or utilise a barbecue area at one of the many local wineries and get a game of cricket or soccer happening with the kids. The gardens at PepperTree wines is without a doubt, one of the Cottage Hunter Valley’s favourite spots, but Allandale winery, Hanging Tree Wines and pretty much anywhere in Wollombi are also wonderful places to throw down a rug and share a lazy afternoon with loved ones.
